1988. The British Invasion: The History of British Rock [2:16]. Santa Monica: Rhino Records Inc. [Rhino R2 70320]

Only one guitar part appears in most of the song with the solo dubbed in later. The guitar sound is the same for both suggesting that only one guitarist (Hicks?) played on this recording. [Clayson (1996:134) suggests that Nash seldom played guitar in performance, but rather would "continue hacking an inaudible rhythm guitar unconnected to any power point."]

Text
Did you ever see a man with no heart, Baby that was me.
Just a lonely, lonely man with no heart, till you set me free.
a
Now I can breathe, I can see, I can touch, I can feel.
I can taste all the sugar sweetness in your kiss,
You give me all the things[/love] I've ever missed,
I never felt like this, I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive.
b
I used to think that I was livin', Baby I was wrong.
No I never knew a thing about livin', till you came along.
