| "Mustt Mustt" (or "Mast Mast") is a modernized version of the famous qawwali manqabat, "Shabaz Qalandar." Shabaz Qalandar was a Sufi mystic who, according to legend, miraculously survived several attempts on his life. The word "mast" means "intoxicated" and in this song tied to the Sufi idea of being "intoxicated with the breath of God" ("dam, dam, mast Qalandar"). |
