"Victoria" opened the Kinks' 1969 album, Arthur (or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire), which he hoped to turn into a television musical. The story revolves around Arthur (modeled on Ray Davies' brother-in-Law Arthur) and his decision to emigrate to Australia.
