While recording another John Loudermilk tune seems like a logical follow-up to "Tobacco Road," the song is so dramatically different in sentiment that it almost defies the rules of what a good follow up should be. The recording did well in the United Kingdom, but received little air play in the States. Perhaps most notable about the performance is the guitar solo (probably Jim Sullivan) which belies a much bluesier feel than most pop items of the time.

Text
Jump in my old jeep wagon. Bump it to the banks of the river.
Ding me a worm and a crooked screw and wade out into the water.
a
Oh, Good bye, Google Eye. Eat 'em up, Google Eye, Google Eye, Google Eye. (repeat)
Good bye, Google Eye.
b
Bait me hook in the mornin'. Throw it out into the water.
They can swim with a dorsal fin and come home to me daughter.
c
Google Eye swims by the hip boot. Look up at me from the water.
Google Eye chomp and me fall on me romp, but me get him up out of the water.
d
Google Eye fry and sizzle. Sweet smoke lay on the water.
Take home Google eyes gills and tails, home to me daughter.
