The Shadows. 1977. 20 Golden Greats [6]. London: EMI Records [CDP 7 46243 2].

The recording follows song form — verse-verse-chorus-verse — in extended form. Here, the verse section consists of a verse followed by a refrain so that the first full structural statement is verse/refrain, verse/refrain, chorus, verse/refrain. An alternative version of the verse, with alternating guitar and drum parts acts as to demarcate the end of the opening statement. What follows is a restatement of the chorus and verse/refrain, with the final refrain modified to act as a coda and ending.
